This knife was especially designed to make boning easier.It's blade, although 5 1/8"long is thin and gracefully curved which makes it ideally suited for ling and short fur game. It enables you to cut close with a minimum of effort.
The G-96 TITAN SHEATHS are designed like gun holsters. They are custom made of genuine Western cowhide and carefully contoured to fit the individual knife. Areas of extra stress have been rivet reinforced. The flap has a sturdy snap fastener to prevent loss or damage under the most rugged conditions.

I just love this knife, beautifully made with the finest steel and is a perfect addition to my collection, and will go well with the G96 Titan 940 I've owned since 1980, really happy to find more from this knife maker.

Steel is high quality. Google search suggested Ats34 equivalent and so far that appears possible. I find the handle a bit short for my palm; but a reasonable compromise to keep AOL down with the extra blade length I wanted for thick skinned game like sambar.
